  • Guest Speaker—Neil Zimmerman, Seattle Audubon. A long-time member of Seattle Audubon and a Wenas enthusiast, Neil will focus on the 15 species of Owls found in Washington state, their biology and some tips on where to find these magnificent birds.
  • Good of the Order—Final species count tally, comments, suggestions, questions, memorials and any other contributions.

  • Guest Speaker—Jeff Antonelis-Lapp, Emeritus Faculty at Evergreen State College and author of “Tahoma and Its People: A Natural History of Mount Rainier National Park.” Jeff will discuss the history of the people visiting our state’s tallest mountain for more than 9,000 years, the effects of global pollution (climate change) on the park and the status of three birds protected under the U.S. Endangered Species Act.
